MULTIBEAM LED
For your perfect vision: the adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlamps employ individually controllable LEDs to react to the given traffic situation. Partial main beam omits other road users without dazzling them.
Sliding glass sunroof
The electric glass sliding sunroof allows more light and air into your vehicle. Even when closed and especially when open, it lends a brighter ambience to the interior. When the sliding roof is open, there is a pleasant flow of fresh air with no draughts. A movable roof liner gives additional protection from the sun.
Trailer coupling with ESP® trailer stabilization

Classic SUV design elements contrast interestingly with the fully digital Widescreen Display to highlight the off-road character of the new GLS. These include extensive open-pore wood trim, striking angular air vents and, most conspicuously, the grab handles on the centre console. The front seats feature structured upholstery in typical SUV style to further emphasize the vehicle's off-road credentials.

Widescreen Cockpit
With the Widescreen Cockpit, the instrument display and media display form a visual unit. The two fully digital colour displays are combined beneath a joint glass cover and blend harmoniously into the interior design as a seamless surface. The media display comes in a free-standing variant for the first time – an elegant eye-catching feature.
Burmester® surround sound system
Experience more performance and exclusivity with the legendary Burmester sound. The high-performance speakers deliver first-class surround sound. You can specifically optimise this for the front and rear seats to intensify the listening experience. A level of quality that is also visible, thanks to the high-quality Burmester inscription.
Load compartment variability
Your plans will never be too big for the new GLS: the backrests of the second and third seat rows can be folded down individually or together at the push of a button to produce a load compartment with a capacity of up to 2400 litres. The rear end can be lowered to facilitate loading, and the tailgate can be opened and closed by a mere movement of your foot.

Parking Package with 360° camera
Park and manueuvre confidently and comfortably: the 360° camera provides you with all-round visibility and a bird's-eye view. This way you can confidently tackle narrow, crooked and confusing parking situations. Active Parking Assist with PARKTRONIC supports you in looking for a parking space as well as with entering and exiting suitable perpendicular parking spaces.
Head-up Display
The head-up display allows you to keep your eye on all important information at all times in the new GLS. This is made possible by projecting a roughly 24 x 8 cm image into your natural field of vision which appears to hover around two metres above the bonnet. This means your attention remains focused on the traffic at all times.
AIRMATIC Package
In the AIRMATIC Package, an adaptive damping system meets modern air suspension. The result: intelligent comfort suspension which is able to adjust automatically to the driving conditions, speed and load.
